Join us for an inspiring talk with award-winning garden designer Cleve West, as he takes us through a selection of his celebrated work—from intimate urban spaces to expansive country estates. As our final Winter Lecture speaker for 2025, Cleve will share the stories behind his iconic designs, including seven RHS Gold Medal-winning Chelsea Flower Show gardens, and Horatio’s Garden at the Duke of Cornwall's Spinal Treatment Centre, Salisbury.
In this evening, Cleve will also open up about his evolving approach to gardening in response to environmental challenges. From the highs and lows of allotment gardening to innovative ideas for sustainable garden design, Cleve brings his vast experience and passion for meaningful, resilient landscapes.

Our Winter Lecture series invites speakers from the world of horticulture, botany and beyond.
All talks take place in the Lecture Theatre at Oxford University's Museum of Natural History, Parks Rd, Oxford OX1 3PW (directions).
Tickets are £20 per talk. These lectures are live-only events and will not be recorded.
A drinks reception will take place after the lecture from 20:00 until 20:30 in the beautiful surroundings of the Museum.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic options will be available.
